The Fear of Death: Satan's Last Weapon

walkingfaith

Fear is everyone's worst nightmare. We don't want to face it for ourselves and we do not want to face it for others. For Christians, we have no problem giving our lives to Jesus for eternity, but why do we have such a problem trusting Him with our physical deaths? After all, He said He would never leave us.

There are plenty of scriptures that give us hope about what happens after these bodies pass on. For the believer, shouldn't it be something we look forward to? Shouldn't we embrace physical death? The Bible tells us that to be absent from the body is to be present with Jesus. We should be content here on earth, and we should be content knowing that we will be with Jesus in eternity one day.

In this series on the podcast, the pastors discuss what the Bible says about death, life, and fear. They discuss what happens when we allow this deep-seated fear into our lives. It gives the enemy a stronghold and he uses it to trap us. We cannot be truly free for God to work in our lives if we are surrounded by this fear of death. All sickness eventually leads to death if untreated and this is our fear. What if the treatment doesn't work? What if?

Friends, we want you to live in peace and that means being okay with what God has ordained. Be okay with death and be okay with life. Trust God with everything. Be sure to listen to the series, "The Fear of Death: Satan's Last Weapon". There are four parts to this series and we are certain you will get a lot out of them. Please share this with someone else.
